Who We Are
A century of Nigerian record, and everything built on top of it.
Folio Africa grew out of Nigerian print. Daily Times Nigeria began publishing in 1926 and became the country's newspaper of record; the group that formed around it now spans media, communications, advertising, publishing, technology, lifestyle, hospitality and strategic investments.

Mission, vision and the reason for both.
- 01
Mission
To build and sustain businesses that create durable value for African markets — nurturing self-sustaining ecosystems of products, services and partnerships rather than isolated assets.
- 02
Vision
To be the African enterprise that connects the continent's institutions, industries and audiences, and shapes what comes next.
- 03
Purpose
To put African capability, African stories and African enterprise at the centre of the continent's growth, on terms set in Africa.
One parent, one operating group, three offshore entities.
Folio Africa is the parent. Folio Holdings runs the Nigerian businesses across eight divisions. A360, MVMO Seychelles and MVMO Mauritius sit directly under the parent and carry the group's international partnerships, including NOK Group.
- 01
Media & Publishing
The heritage core of the group — national newspapers, magazines and publishing houses that have recorded Nigeria's story for close to a century.
- 02
Advertising & Communications
Out-of-home networks, digital platforms and integrated campaign delivery that put brands in front of audiences across the country.
- 03
Lifestyle & Hospitality
Consumer brands and destinations built around wellbeing, everyday essentials and the way Nigerians gather.
- 04
Property & Experiences
Venues, concessions and managed spaces — the physical footprint where the group's audiences and partners meet.
- 05
Investment & Trading
Procurement, trading and an equity portfolio that compounds value across the group and beyond it.
- 06
Future Forward
The group's incubator. Early-stage ventures and platforms in technology, energy and the creative economy.
- 07
Special Projects
Large-scale national undertakings delivered through the group's network — infrastructure, energy and landmark programmes.
- 08
Social Impact
Community identity, education and inclusion — the work the group does because it is right, measured like everything else.
Three things the group is not willing to trade.
- Heritage
Building trusted institutions.
A masthead that has published through every chapter of modern Nigeria, and the editorial standards that kept it credible for a century. Trust is the group's oldest asset and the one it protects hardest.
- Innovation
Creating modern solutions.
Digital newsrooms, incubated ventures and platforms built in-house. Future Forward exists so the group is never only defending what it already owns.
- Impact
Delivering measurable value across industries.
Infrastructure delivered, campaigns placed, classrooms equipped. The group holds its social work to the same standard of evidence as its commercial work.
